Ownership Structure
The founding partners of BSP are Borzen d.o.o., the Slovenian electricity market operator and Eurex Frankfurt AG , the European derivatives exchange.
On 19.8.2010 Borzen acquired 66% share in BPS Regionalna Energetska Borza d.o.o. from Eurex and became a sole owner of BSP.
On 1.12.2010 Elektro - Slovenija, d.o.o. acquired 50% share in BSP Regionalna Energetska Borza d.o.o. with capital increase of the company.
Besides Borzen the ownership structure of BSP will consist of further two categories of owners:
- partners that are neutral to the energy market and guarantee, above all, credibility, capital adequacy and high quality of financial services provided by regional exchange, and
- regional energy market participants.
