BSP provides its market participants with Day-ahead, Intraday and balancing and Long-term auction trading for physical products on the Slovenian market. Only those companies, which have obtained the right to participate by way of an accepted application, are allowed to participate on market.

Trading on the power exchange is a process whereby the supply of and demand for electricity products is met. Depending on the market segment, trading is possible with standardized and user-defined electricity products.

Market participants also have the possibility to submit transactions outside the power exchange in order to be cleared via the BSP clearing system.
