It has been an outstanding 2017 for BSP Southpool. With 7,53 TWh of total trading volume (9,5% via Intraday), we have noticed a 7% increase in comparison to 2016.

Secondly, BSP established itself as a regional long-term auction center. In November we have successfully performed for the 3rd time a Grid Loss Auction in cooperation with Eles (TSO) and for the 1st time also an Auction for the Settlement of Imbalances in cooperation with SODO (DSO).

Milestones in 2017:

• Trading Volumes 7,53 TWh (Day-Ahead 6,82 TWh, 0,71 TWh Intraday)
• Net yearly clearing settlement of 341 Million EUR
• 40 members from 15 countries
